Denis Champenois joined Innovacom as CEO in 1993.
He started and managed as CEO the Innovacom 2, Innovacom 3, Technocom and Innovacom 4 funds’ investment programs. When Innovacom Gestion was created in 2000, he was named chairman of the board of directors.

Since 1988, he has had seats on the boards of directors of many communications companies in France and Europe (Editions Glénat, Algety, NetCentrex, Lea, 3DPlus, Witbe, Madrid Film, etc.) and participated to many advisory boards of venture funds.
He launched the Wireless Internet Venture Association, regrouping prominent VCs from Europe and Japan specialized in the telecommunication field.

Between 1988 and 1993, he founded and managed a fund that took majority holdings in companies in the media sector (Voltaire Image) and an investment fund in the area of film and television production (Amaya Films). From 1984 to 1988, Denis was manager of the Finance and Holdings department of France Telecom’s Finance division.

Denis Champenois is a graduate of the French business school HEC and the École Nationale Supérieure des Postes et Télécommunications.
